Do you have a Vision
The world is mute
No, I don’t have any vision of my own at the moment… ha,…I’m ” tangled up in Blue! ” It,s the permanent sense of man’s ignorance. Where things are often vague, doubtful and complicated, I have trouble to survive. It’s this fuzzy period in the world, where anything is possible , but goodwill have no fertile ground.
My experience… through eyes of flat illusions. My surroundings… full of digital gadgets? I Couldn’t find the way to people with these toys, who maybe would be interested in my willingness and wrongness. I’m still a prisoner of Lost Heart. Fuck you Leonard Rubins. Please, get serious…Yahoo!

Kdor daleč gre, svet drugače gleda od tega, kar se mu resnično zdi.
In če doma obuja jih beseda, mu pravijo da govori laži.
Le to verjame ljudstva otopela čreda, kar tiplje, kar ji kažejo oči.
Neizkušenost, ki je doma ostala, bo tej zgodbi malo vere dala.

Že od rane mladosti imam željo po potovanju s kolesom.
Ko sem bil star 12 let sem narisal načrt, ki ga hranim še sedaj. Želel sem preveriti ali je zemlja okrogla. Seveda me je usoda peljala po čisto drugačni poti. Služba, dom in družina. Desetletja ljubečega posvečanja veliki družini mi je podarila nesebičen čut za ljudi. Sezidal sem dom, posadil mnogo dreves, skrbel za družino in počel še marsikaj. Ves čas pa se moje sanje v ozadju niso hotele in želele posloviti…
Občasno smo gostili popotnike z porjavelimi obrazi preko hospitalityclub-a, ki so v meni vedno znova obudili utišano srčno željo.
Štirje sinovi so sedaj večinoma odrasli in samostojni in čas je da poskrbim za uresničitev svojih sanj. Ko sem lani dopolnil 50 let sem začel, tudi na spodbujanje svoje družine, te sanje uresničevati v realnosti.
Začel sem kolesariti po svoji mali domovini in širiti meje svojih dolgoletnih obzorij, ter trenirati – ves čas z mislimi na veliko pot v širni svet. Spoznati nove ljudi, naravo in celotno naše življenje – neposredno. Imeti osebno izkušnjo...preden…
Ko se tako srečujem z ljudmi ob poti, pogosto pogovor nanese na mir in razumevanju za Zemljo. In tako se rojeva, projekt PEACETRAVELER, v okviru katerega želim z potovalnim kolesom Velotraum prepotovati čimveč sveta.

Načrt se glede na aktualno situacijo v svetu tudi spremeni. Doba potovanja ni časovno omejena.
Seveda sem dolga leta kupoval vso potrebno opremo za daljše potovanje.
Projekt sem predstavljal tudi v okviru umetniških razstav in je, predvsem umetniško, dokumentiran na spletnih straneh www.leonardrubins.com
Takšen projekt pa, razumljivo, ni poceni!
Sem skromen človek, a pri izbiri opreme nisem dopuščal kompromisov na škodo celotnega projekta.
Srčno želim začeti z svojo potjo, dokler ne bom prestar za to. Da pa uresničim svojo željo se obračam na pomoč tudi na vas.

ZOPET AKTUALNA TEMA – The PIGS FLUE – and other panic stuff … a bo kaj pomagalo, če si damo vrečke na glavo….hm! Nevednost je največji greh človečtva… Yea, right.
Dejstvo je, da nas bo kmalu preveč. Preveč pohlepnih ljudi, deloholikov, ki bi vsi radi čimprej zaslužili svoj prvi miljon. Treba se bo preprosto …ustaviti. Pa bi večina tako rada da se še naprej “dogaja”.

Respected visitor!
From my young age I had a strong wish to cycling around the world. When I was 12. I drew a map of tour around the world, which I still posses. I wanted to see if the world is round. Of course it was destiny, which lead me on quite different path in life. A job and big family was my every day reality. Decades of giving an unselfish love to family, awarded me with deep sense for people. Building home, planting trees, doing many things and taking care for my family didn’t stop my secret quest to disappeared from my heart. Occasionally we host some travelers with bright sunny faces (hospitalityclub), who reminded me on my childhood dreams…Time passes so quickly and four of my sons are mostly grown up and independent. Finally time for taking care of my everlasting dreams has come.
Last year I was 50; and also by family encouragement, I started to take short tours around my small country, just to expand my long lasting family comfort zone and to train. All the time with thoughts on the grand tour.
Knowing people, nature and our Life, directly and to have a personal experience…before…
Meeting people on the road, we often speak about so misused word “Peace” and understanding for Earth needs. And people who knows me sometimes calling me, peace traveler. It was the beginning of PEACETRAVELER project. Under this name I want to take the grand tour.

The plan can be changed regarding the current situation in the world. Length of trip is not limited in time.
I bought special touring bike (Velotraum) and for years now I am buying necessary equipment for tour.
This project, however, is not cheap! I am a modest man but regarding the choice of equipment, I did’ t allow any compromises to damage the project.
I also present this project in form of art exhibitions which is partly documented on my personal art web page.

It’s time to turn a few pages in the World Atlas. After 4½ hours strokes of the wing and a 4.000 km chunk of the South Pacific on board the Boeing plane from Auckland, New Zealand, I’ve crossed the International Dateline, and have thus moved from being about as far east as man can go to about as west as man can go. French Polynesia is the place.
It’s a funny thing, crossing time zones. During the last more than 2 years of cycling east I’ve occasionally sacrificed an hour here, an hour there in order to synchronize with the local time. And then, all of a sudden, the clock’s turned back 24 hours thus giving me an extra day which happened to be Saturday July 5th 2008. It’s not daily fare for me to get an extended weekend for free (but then again, it’s always Sunday in my life as a good girlfriend in Adelaide once told me).
French Polynesia is country #4 on my bike expedition around the world. To my delight the temperature’s been tripled compared to Auckland’s 10 winter degrees Celsius, people say Bonjour and Ça va? and drive in the right (that is the right, as opposed to left and opposed to the wrong as well) side of the road which in an odd way seem wrong to me after the last 10 months in the wrong (left, that is) side of the road. Confused? So was I crossing the first few intersections in Tahiti’s capital Papeete.
I’ve left the introductory tropical coma behind me (it’s more comfortable that it sounds) and lap up new, Tahitian input like a sponge. As expected it’s beautiful, seductively exotic and insanely expensive here. One hour internet’s up to 25 USD, a 2L bucket of ice cream is 17 USD, a kilo of capsicum is 12 USD and I nearly crashed on my bike when I saw a net of oranges (approx. 2 kg) with the proud price tag of 30 USD!
Understandably, I’ve become even more anorectic with my money and survive on tap water, bananas and jam sandwiches. And God bless the French for introducing le baguette which is dirt cheap, fresh, and readily available. But I’m willing to make a few compromises in the culinary department because it is food for the hunger of my paradise dreams to be here in Tahiti and Moorea, without a doubt France’s most sexy accessory as they say.
