About the Cycle Touring
Since the time, when the idea of my cycle touring around the world was born, decades have passed. Torn between great expectations and apathy I have lived my everyday life in envy, to those who dare to live their dreams. Often, there has been a fear in my mind from the greatness of these plans, but slowly I reached the point of no return, and only the Great Spirit of Light, can stop me from realizing my life dreams …

Most of my ideas and skills in recent years I have focused on finding ways and means to realize this ideal. I was hoping that the realization of my idea would be inspired by a Higher Spirit or ideal – but is not – I don’t think I will go and save some part of the world, by traveling with ecological transport. However, I can save myself. And that could be reasonable goal. Like many others I was looking for the eternal answer to questions about meaning of human life. But today, I just want to stroll and scroll around the world by bicycle, simply. Visits to the dream destination, get to know new people, maybe write about it, and above all do exactly what pleased me. Since human life is short, and such as mine, it is the only one and very unique.
I do not have any master plan or a certain number of miles, I would like to ride. But I have many days, months and perhaps years in abundance. And I don’t expect that my journey becomes your lifestyle model. I will ride as long as I enjoyed the beautiful day and then I’ll stop, rest, socialize with people, eat, write, and sometimes have to earn some money. Then at dusk, I will lay to rest, sleep well and with a smile on my face wake up in the new sunlit day, need no alarm clock, because I will never hurry.
I still have all the time, of the rest of my life available, to carry out the most important thing in the world – to live my dream.
And, thus my life is becoming more defined. Finally, I have a goal and the goal is the way.
Should I even mention, how happy I am about discovering this!

Spoštovani popotnik! Od obdobja, ko se je moja zamisel o kolesarskem potovanju po svetu rodila so pretekla že desetletja. Razpet med razburljivim pričakovanjem in apatijo vsakdana sem živel svoje življenje, v zavidanju tistim, ki si drznejo živeti svoje sanje. Pogosto se zavedajoč strahu pred veličino mojih načrtov, sem počasi prispel do točke brez vrnitve in samo Vsemogočni me lahko ovrne od tega. Večina mojih misli in sposobnosti, sem zadnja leta osredotočil na iskanje načinov in poti, da to tudi uresničim.
V realizacijo te ideje me žal ni navdihnil Vseprisotni Duh ali ideal – ne mislim, da bom z tem, da potujem z ekološkim prevoznim sredstvom, reševal kakšen kos naše Zemlje. Lahko pa z tem rešim sebe. It to je lahko cilj. Kot mnogi iščem odgovore na večno človeških vprašanj o smislu in ne pričakujtem, da moja pot postane tvoj življenski model.
Preprosto, se želim potepati po svetu z kolesom. Obiskovati sanjske destinacije, spoznavati nove ljudi, mogoče pisati o tem, predvsem pa početi ravno to, kar me veseli. Ker človeško življenje je, pravijo, kratko in takšno kot je moje je samo eno in edino.
Nimam nekega načrta poti ali določenega števila kilometrov, ki bi jih rad prevozil. Imam pa na razpolago dneve, mesece in mogoče leta.
Kolesaril bom dokler bom užival v lepem dnevu in potem se bom ustavil, počival, se družil z ljudmi, jedel, pisal in včasih tudi moral kaj zaslužii. Nato bom ob mraku legel k počitku, mirno spal in se z nasmehom na obrazu zbudil v nov z soncem obsijani dan, brez ure, ker se mi nikoli ne bo mudilo .
Imam ves čas, preostanka svojega življenja na razpolago, da opravim najbolj bistveno stvar na svetu – živeti svoje sanje.
In moja življenska pot postaja bolj določena. Imam cilj in cilj je pot. Ali naj sploh omenim, kako me je to spoznanje osrečilo!
